Les Ateliers Ruby, the French helmet producer, known for their advanced style factor, has worked on a special Sponge Bob version of their Pavillon Helmet. Of course the helmet comes in yellow and features the Spong Bob face on the back. Limited to only 200 pieces, the helmet has been released today at colette, the commemorate the characters 10th anniversary.

A new hybrid of sorts from the adidas Originals program is previewed below. The shoes take on a classic mountaineering look fused with the brand’s traditional brand of athletic sneaker design. Details include mesh, leather, and suede uppers with hiking laces/lace loops and the addition of accent colors with pop. Both release via adidas Originals store in the early part of 2010, with a pre-order now in effect through End Clothing.

On November 27th, Black Friday, Five Four is opening its second store at Westfield Century City.
About seven weeks after opening our first store, we have taken on the task of opening our second store. A little soon? Eh maybe, but here we go. Later this week, Supreme and Vans will release their latest collaboration based on the 106 model. With a total of four shoes, two styles are seen in camouflage while two others are seen in suede. Each style also includes leather lining and insoles. The shoes release in-store and online on November 27th with a Japanese release slated for November 28th.

French jeweler Van Cleef & Arpels found inspiration in the colorful flora, fauna, and landscape of California for its latest High Jewelry collection, California Rêverie. The 100-piece collection employs an array of vibrant-colored gemstones to portray the imagery of the West Coast including both literal translations, such as the poppy floral clip featuring a 6.52-carat pear-shaped green sapphire from Madagascar set with yellow sapphires, and the subliminal Big Sur necklace composed of nine Paraiba tourmalines suggesting the vastness of the blue water and sky.
The High Jewelry collection is a culmination of a few years of developing the design concepts, assembling rare gemstones, and executing each handmade piece in Van Cleef & Arpels’ Parisian workshops. This year’s collection was unveiled in Los Angeles in October and will be traveling internationally for the fall season.
